Jason believes in media as a force for good in the world. He is the primary point of contact for our clients and members of the media. His job is to bridge the two through creative thinking, laser-focused writing, off-the-cuff problem solving and dogged persistence. With a background in writing and editing for major magazines and newspapers, Jason will not only be your public relations strategist, but also your ghostwriter, your interviewer, your brand journalist, whatever the situation calls for.

Mike joined Theirsay after 15 years in journalism, most notably as a staffer for Connecticut Magazine and the New Haven Register. His keen eye for detail makes him a superior editor and he is a well-rounded storyteller with an uncanny sense of what will appeal to a given audience. Accustomed to the fast pace of the newsroom, Mike’s ability to communicate efficiently while bringing forward powerful ideas helps him cultivate and strengthen relationships in the media and business communities. Plus, be prepared for some laughs along the way.
Laura Aguiar

Laura Aguiar is a versatile communicator with experience across government and commercial sectors. She’s corralled media at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, steered advertising and economic development pitches for a regional airport and covered the Japanese culture for a magazine targeting tens of thousands of military personnel overseas. She began her career producing broadcast news and worked her way around the world as a military spouse, picking up an MBA along the way. Lifelong learning and travel help her thrive in new environments and find that fresh story angle for a client.
Jewel Lin
design & data lead
With a background in design and an MBA, Jewel has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the creative field and digital marketing. She creates striking and effective marketing materials while analyzing website data and optimizing online campaigns. Suffice it to say, she wears a lot of hats, and there's little she can't do. Jewel also speaks four languages and has placed our clients in Chinese media outlets and managed social media campaigns for them abroad.
