Theirsay Recognized by PRSA CT with Two Mercury Awards

The Public Relations Society of America Greater Connecticut Chapter (PRSA CT) recognized Theirsay with two 2023 Mercury Awards, which celebrate the best work in public relations in Connecticut.

Theirsay received a silver award in the “External Communications” category for its overall campaign for camping accessibility and reviews app The Dyrt in 2023. Theirsay also received a bronze award in the “Research / Evaluation” for The Dyrt's 2023 Camping Report, a comprehensive guide to the camping industry that was cited by media more than 500 times this year in outlets such as Reader’s Digest, USA Today and many more. The report was frequently referenced in media coverage of recent camping accessibility legislation in California. These were the highest awards bestowed on any CT firm in these categories in 2023.

“On behalf of the entire board of directors, congratulations to all of the Mercury Award winners,” said Elizabeth Walden, president, PRSA Greater Connecticut. “We received submissions from across the state this year and each entry showcased tremendous talent and creativity, upholding the standards of excellence in our industry.”

The Mercury Awards, the only statewide recognition of industry excellence in Connecticut, were announced during PRSA Greater Connecticut Chapter’s 2023 Mercury Award Ceremony at The Russell House at Wesleyan University in Middletown.
